Teacher-practitioner relationship in tai chi
When a certain level is reached, the practitioner knows that he is ready to start teaching others a part of his knowledge. Saving for yourself the teachings received by those who were your teachers is an act of selfishness that a good practitioner of Tai Chi Chuan and Chikung cannot afford.
Just as it is said that when the student is ready, the teacher appears, the opposite also happens: when the teacher is ready, the student appears. Therefore, one should not be afraid to embark on the adventure of teaching and transmitting the acquired knowledge, also knowing that there will never be compromised situations that cannot be resolved. In addition, the teacher also learns and is enriched with each new student, also being a great experience that can be shared.
Chikung or tai chi chuan class preparation
When the teacher begins to prepare a chikung or tai chi chuan course, the moment he believes it in his mind, he must shape it, project it and configure it with enthusiasm. At the same time, and during the period before the course, you should practice the various techniques of working with the chikung energy, keeping your vitality as high as possible.
On the other hand, and depending on the course to be prepared, it is interesting to make a script with the distribution of time and the different activities that you want to do. In each of the levels there is a series of basic knowledge that must be taught to the student, but apart from the basic knowledge that is part of the teaching, each teacher can add the techniques that he considers appropriate and that he believes he should transmit.
As a general rule, a class should start with a few minutes to focus the mind and continue with light exercises before moving on to more specific chikung exercises. After the start of the class, a little energetic self-massage to cleanse the energetic structure can help free the body of the emotional tensions accumulated during the day. Next, the chikung practices themselves begin, which will be chosen depending on the level of the students, although it is always interesting to go little by little, introducing the different exercises and trying to make the class enjoyable and effective.
At the end of chikung, the practice of different forms is given, such as thirteen movements of the yang style or eighteen of the chen style, but always without haste, remembering that the practice is not to collect movements, but to work internally to improve the quality of life in every way. To finish, it is recommended to do a minimum of ten minutes of meditation if the class is held late at night; otherwise, meditation can be done at the beginning of the class or a massage in pairs to distribute the qi throughout the body and its structure.
Exercises according to the season of the year
It is also important to plan the exercises according to the current annual season in order to improve the functions of the governing organs at all times of the year.

Very soft practice, of recollection, giving priority to meditation and chikung. Tai Chi forms should be practiced gently and slowly, like a moving meditation.
Practice a little more intense, but equally smooth. The body wakes up after the winter recollection and the accumulated qi begins to circulate, so priority is given to stretching of meridians, and exercises for the liver. The forms are practiced with half-height postures, in a soft, friendly and light way.
Vigorous practice, such as summer activity marked by the fire element of the heart. Chikung is prioritized with meditations at the end of practice to balance qi. The forms are practiced with speed, power and great expressiveness.
Gentle practice, in order to prepare the body for winter, focusing on chikung. The forms are practiced in moderation, whose power must be based on the personal preferences of each practitioner.
Like most other disciplines like Chikung, Tai Chi was transmitted in closed circles in the past and in a very personalized way. This created a strong bond between teacher and student.
